I'm eating a Galaxy Cookie Crumble at the minute. It was 60p. Alongside it is a vodka and coke. Just felt in the mood for one of each.

Almond was my favourite. A truly superb bar, but clearly I was alone in thinking so, as it vanished from production after a couple of years..

Not so, the almond Yorkie was by far the best of the bunch.....Yorkies nowadays are in a sad decline though, eating one is reminiscent of eating brown lard.

When I was a lad it took two of us to carry a Waggon Wheel home and the whole family of 14, plus 6 dogs and a cat, could live off it for a week.

Anyone remember Aztec or Cabana bars?

They should bring back the Texan bar

And chew you had to, the method of eating them was to tie one end around a lamp post then walk halfway down the street with the other bit in your mouth before a piece was successfully removed from the bar.

Dentists must have loved them.
