Offside without a doubt.
Offside without a doubt.
One foot on the line, the defenders are all behind it? I'd say off but hey ho.
The ball definitely went forward a little from Spanish Dave as Barnes was basically on the line when he tapped it in. Looks in front of the defenders= off.
Ah. I see the problem... you dont understand the offside rule
I'll leave
He's definitely infront of the defenders. It's whether or not he's infront of the ball that matters.
Is it still part of the law that if a part of the player's body they can legally touch the ball with is in front of the ball or covering defender when the ball is played then they are offside? Just saying because his head looks to be in front of his left foot.

This.
If the player is behind the ball when it's passed it's not offside, even if the pass is forward. Being infront of the defenders doesn't matter in this instance either.
Nice to see you had the decency to explain rather than Papa being down right rude with no explanation, poor form.
@papa_Lazarou
Are you saying because Barnes was behind the ball he can't be offside ?

If (as in the first diagram) the ball is closer to the goal than the last defender when Lopez plays it, surely the offside trap has already been sprung and Barnes is onside?
