And people actually start threads about me commenting that I have people on ignore? ???

I am not going to read Beach vagrant's shit gammon posts, I am going to ignore them, and say so. It is a form of protest (and it works, given how much it seems to infuriate certain people).

Edit - I see he's now banned for a bit. Now everyone has him on ignore :lolol:

My litmus test on putting that ‘sort’ on ignore or not, was whether the criticising of anti racists/anti racism needs to be relentlessly challenged. I think it does. Contrary to his hopes, his sentiments didn’t anger or wind me up. Always good to support the decent minded people too.

I may be old fashioned but I see no reason whatsoever for a team to walk off of a pitch and the two reasons for abandonment should be weather or the refs decision for some reason like extremely serious injury or likelihood of.

You still haven't addressed my previous post!! At least I'm not a hypocrite. Hey so why don't you give up 1901 and sit in the north stand and donate the difference in price to a homeless charity? Really show what a socialist you are?

I’m aware you are now banned but you are likely still reading. Your focus seems to be the ‘liberal elite’ but perhaps you need to simply ignore white people of a different political persuasion and focus instead on the upset being caused to young black footballers. Just show a little empathy.

That'll probably be because you've never experienced truly vile abuse from a bunch of no-mark pricks standing a few feet away who wouldn't be brave enough to do it in the street but are happy to do so in the safety of numbers.

Probably but to me HB admitted the racists had won when they left the pitch. Not sure about the make up of Yeovils team now but they have had their fair share in the past.

I never like to use ''hypothetical scenarios'' to get points across but in this instance BG I choose to do it because I think if you can teach the ''Older Generation'' they in turn will teach the '' Younger Generation'' within their families. And also the fact that I believe you to be a thoroughly decent guy.

Let's imagine for one minute you own Grandson ''Young Ben'' had been born '' Bi-Racial'' - You went to watch him play football on a Sunday in a local league and parents or grandparents supporting the opposition subjected young Ben to ''Racial Abuse and Racial Slurs'' - Would you not want to take him off the pitch to protect him from such abhorrent behaviour ?

Personally I don’t know if the (alleged) Yeovil racists did win. On a micro level (commensurate with their IQ’s), once they sobered up, they must be bloody worried about this escalating for them personally - a dawn knock at the door from the police, courts, shaming, loss of employment or a loss of customers if running a business, and a life ban from watching their beloved Yeovil home and away (easy to enforce due to low crowds).

I wouldn’t want each match abandoned every time one or more persons was racist, but in this case, it’s really worked to bring this to a head in this country.

In that instance and in fact in every one I would hope that the ref was aware of such abuse and took the action and abandoned the game rather than players taking action themselves. As soon as 1 ref does it many will follow and it will become a custom and practice.

But you said the only 2 reasons a ref should abandon a game is weather and/or likelihood of serious injury ???
