Glad a sensible decision was made to wear the yellow one. The kits in City v Bournemouth were bloody awful. Why couldn't B'muff play in red and black shirts as well?

Yeh. I think something is going on here. Along the lines of the players have complained they struggle to pick their teammates out in the green. So much of passing is about peripheral vision. Then there's probably been some sort of internal departmental hoo-haa about who approved the kit and how often, contractually we are supposed to wear it. Quite rightly, the players views came out on top.

The other issue with a green kit is how it affects those who suffer from colour blindness. Green and Red is the most common type, so for them that green kit looks the same colour as Man Utd's and Liverpools home kit. Assume none of our players are colour blind.

I'm sure most of you on here have ascertained by now that I am a man of impeccable taste and I love the green kit. It also has some historical relevance as it was the kit of Brighton United, which is a nice touch imo.

Yellow kit is much better than the green one

It reminds me of 'dirty' Leeds. They always played away in yellow. Mnd you, the green kit makes me thing of Gary Sprake. I have a feeling that when I was a kid, 'dirty' Lees must have warped my tiny mind.

Prefer it to the Australian kit (the yellow one).

Australia play in green and gold.

If Bukta did BHA kit again I'd be front of the queue. Blue towelling track suit top anyone?

My brother had a yellow Bukta away tracksuit when he was about 6, (1981) Where that came from only Santa knows!

Prefer it to the Australian kit (the yellow one).

Not just me then!

Always associated yellow with Leeds and that smiley 1970's badge. Ironic smile given the 'Dirty Leeds' epithet was well earned.

Could be worse though. Leeds' originally played in Blue and White stripes - modelled on Huddersfield. Be truly horrible now to have the same home colours as Leeds.

I didn't know that, and it's a relief

As an 8-9 year old, and even as a 47 year old I don't give a flying farqhuar about other teams, I like b&w stripes, blue shorts, white socks, and all yellow away . . . Formative, and stylish years for me was Bukta. I never had a blue kit in the early 80's, didn't get another one until Nobo time, and still got it!

Green kit is toilet. Simple

We know it, the players know it. Just the idiot that approved it didn’t.

Funny how this season is the first for a long time where the normal record kit sales announcement wasn’t made. Must have cost us thousands.

I hope we never see it again, yellow is infinitely better.

A point so obvious it's appalling it has to be made.

A plain shirt without any unnecessary or silly design furniture, and with a key historical reference is 'the worse one ever' - like in preference to the Chewit wrapper, or the ridiculous pin-striped Sandtex effort or the radioactive turquoise abomination? I think some people should take up watching figure skating if they wanted revolting, garish outfits in sport.
