Unlucky mate - I for one thought it was a pretty good game for a neutral. Could have gone either way really. You have a star in the making with the young Scannel bloke - he must have notched up some miles in those legs last night.

The city was buzzing last night

...most of my colleagues have sore heads!

Ideal scenario, Palace get beat and someone beats Bristol City in the final!

:lolol:

He's just got into the Ireland squad, though i don't know much about him. Did he look pretty good then Tricky? (for a P***ce player of course...)

I was listening on the radio, and also went completely OTT when Watson missed the penno, and when LEE TRUNDLE scored. Nice way to brighten up an otherwise mundane tuesday evening:ascarf:

These days I couldn't really care too much about being anti-palace any more, it was just nice to watch an exciting game with both sides going for it. For me, he looked a quality player, especially compare to Morrison who didn't really get a look in. The Trundle goal was a bit of quality though, must say I enjoyed the free-kick goal from McIndoe (?) as well.

Warnock was particulalry gracious in defeat - considering he had just been twatted by a City fan.

Must just say, at least they were in a position to possibly get in the Premiershite!
In my nearly 50 years of supporting Brighton, have never understood the animosity towards a club some FIFTY miles away!

Also, not once have I heard, over the two legs any chants directed towards Brighton.

Methinks that maybe this animosity is a young thing, and they would probably run away if they met a Palace supporter in a dark alley !
