Linked with 19 year old Swedish international from AIK. Creative midfielder and well thought of. Could be a USG loan type.

One of the interesting comments on that article I thought was this:

According to well-initiated sources to Sportbladet, the Premier League's successful team Brighton is now showing interest in Ayari. This according to several independent sources to Sportbladet. The club has scouted him on numerous occasions in 2022. The club is known for nurturing young talent and also has a strategy of signing young players and then selling them on.

Yes we all know this but it's interesting that it's now becoming a fact in foreign press. Can only add to our lure for young top talent around the world.

If they say they've heard it from multiple sources, then they have. That he is being scouted doesn't need to mean too much though.

Good, talented player. Would compare him with Alzate in playing style. Like 99% of Swedish players moving abroad he's not yet good enough for the PL though and would surely go on loan for 1-2 seasons if he was signed.

Shouldn't cost more than £2-3m so its certainly realistic in that way.

We're the English Dortmund. Can't wait till we turn the North Stand into 25,000 capacity Blue and White Wall.

First training session of the season for his club yesterday:

He isn't there though as he's currently with the Swedish national team on their January tour in Portugal where he started against FInland the other day.

AIK CEO commented on the alleged Brighton interest yesterday:

- I do not know. Sometimes so much is written in the media with rumours. I don't know any of the rumors you write about. I think you need to have a bit of source criticism sometimes and not just speculate, but that's the way it is, everyone wants to speculate in silly season, he says and continues:

- Yasin Ayari is a fantastically good player, just like we have many young good players in AIK. He also has a little brother (Taha Ayari), who is at least as good, and we have Bilal (Hussein) and "Joe" (Josafat Mendes), and Omar (Faraj), who I think people greatly underestimate. We have many young good footballers, and if you have many young good players, who also play in the national team, it is clear that there is an interest in all of them. It will be too much speculation for me to answer.

That's a training session? o_O

But are they allowed bottle tops?

But which one would Warren like better - Yasin Ayari or Roony Bardghji? Not to ask which one is better or has higher potential.

I prefer the Sham 69 'Hurry Up Harry' option:

"Come on! Come on!
Yasin Ayari come on
Come on! Come on!
Yasin Ayari come on
We're going down the pub!
We're going down the pub!"
