07:37 - Arrive Victoria, tube to Tottenham Hale
08:18 - Tottenham Hale to Northumberland Park
08:25 - Arrive at desk

2 hours 45 minutes.

Repeat in reverse starting with the 17:21 Northumberland Park to Tottenham Hale. Normally get home about 19:45

Total commuting time (on a good day when everything works) 5 hours 30 minutes.

That would cost the same as HS2 as it wants to tunnel everywhere and it wants to "double-deck" railway lines over tram lines in South London - never mind that Croydon is full to capacity of trains, as are the Southeastern lines to London Bridge.

May well be cheaper buying everyone a helicopter.

The thing that is f***ing disgusting is that, despite running a Saturday/Sunday service (if you get a service at all...) on weekdays in the days between Christmas and new year, the robbing f**ks don't lift the restrictions on Network railcards.

Utter joke of a service. Run a reduced service, charge reduced prices.

Because it takes about 25 mins to walk to the station, and I need to get there in time to get my coffee and get on the train.

each to their own - on lower pay but you can't buy back lost time ! Finish at 4pm and in the garden by 4.15pm with beer and headphones on. less hassle in the winter too !
