What's the question? Which we own, which we prefer, which we'd advise for others, which will prove to be the more successful in the long run, which has the best value for money, which has the best range of games etc?

Been done to death, why cant people just agree to disagree? Each has its fans, and each has its haters. Oh well.

Acker, it's a GAMES CONSOLE WAR. It's time for 12 year old thinking, my dad's harder than your dad etc. Let's not pretend this would dissolve into that, so just go with it.

Poll will show what is already agreed; overall, Xbox360 is better.

How can you have a gaming platform discussion without mention of PCs? Since they win in every single department except for price.

I own a PS3, my Brother owns a 360. Must admit I do like some of the games on the x-box I can't get on my PS3...but I prefer the PS3.

OK then.

( :lolol: )

You cannot seriously tell me a keyboard and mouse is better for gaming than controllers which are specifically designed for gaming! Unless you've bought specific peripherals, in which was my original point stands (geek).

Why would I want to piss about with some awkward thumbsticks when I have a mouse which gives me as much freedom of movement as I could possibly want, and a keyboard with all the buttons I could ever need? It is enjoyable watching someone with double my post count in the same period of time call me a geek though, keep going.

*sigh* please note post number #8 in this thread, HUST.

And oi, while I've been posting on here about cool things like football and ladies and going out on the RAZZ, you've been PC GAMING.

Gaming console, blu-ray player, music system (linked to my 5.1 surround) and photo backup storage, plus BBC i-player / ITV player, subscription-free online content. Oh, and Unchartered.

No competition really, is there ?

Xbox can hold and play music and photos and has music and video streaming services on Last.fm and Zune as well as Sky Player, which puts iPlayer and ITV player to shame.
£30 a year is a small price to pay for a far superior online service that doesn't go down or get hacked into, leaving your personal and credit card details in jeopardy. You could pay for 2 or 3 years of Xbox live with the money you save from buying an Xbox instead of a PS3 anyway.
+ we have Gears of War and Forza among others.
So the only benefit you get out of having a PS3 is that you have the privilege of being able to pay £20 for blu-ray discs.
