Wycombe update

Good news!

Wycombe have JUST confirmed it's now PAY ON THE DAY for Albion fans:clap2:. That has been ratified by the Albion ticket office Manager also.

So now just the weather to deal with! Although don't Wycombe have undersoil heating?

They do. BUT! They tend only to put it on if Wasps are playing the next day
(but they're not at home again until mid Jan) or it's a "big game" e.g. they only turned it on the night before for poor old Accrington Stanley last season and had to abandon after 20mins. So it's whether a) the weather requires the heating or not to be turned on obviously b) and then whether you classify this as a big game (WARNING: some egos on here might not be able to handle the suggestion BHA might not be)

That's the low down. Ow, and the pub nearest the ground is called the Hour Glass and is generally not used by the home fans (they use their bar at the ground, which Albion fans won't be allowed into). Park at jct 4 Handycross (John Lewis etc) and take the park and drive to the ground (only 10mins). Otherwise traffic is a complete disaster zone getting down the hill into the ground and you'll not find anywhere to park near the ground anyway.

Can't believe they don't take plastic at the gate or text messaging payments. What century are they in? Hope it's not like this at Falmer. We'd be in danger of filling it.

Well thank you very much Wycombe - having spent £5.40 on a train ticket to pick up my tickets this morning, I would have far rather have invested this money on 2 extra pints of Xmas Eve lager.

Did they really need to make it all ticket in the first place?

No. The line that was spun was the old chestnut 'Police Advice'. Obviously a load of shit.

Swindon was all ticket then pay on the day

Now Wycombe.

Torquay will probably be as well!
