Million and 1 things going on at this time of year and I've only just noticed this is an all ticket and tomorrow's the last post date. If the Albion don't sell out (and I simply don't trust the post) do you think you'll be allowed to pay on the day? I live local to Wycombe and have several non albion mates who'd like to come but aren't certain at the moment. Not going through the rigmorale of registering them etc so will go in the home end if necessary. But I'd prefer the Albion end obviously. But do you think you'd be able to pay on the day when we only sell half our 1800?

Bottom of the league clash in league 1 all ticket. You can't make it up....

It isn't the Albion's fault - but it is a total shambles this one.

Yea, pissed off about this but we got all our tickets [had to use a few "friends" memberships] today, after ordering yesterday.

I hope you're right, because friends and family round here haven't made their minds up. So it'll be Wycombe end or not at all.

No. But I assume those who work at the Brighton ticket office have checked with Wycombe Wanderes and they said tickets will be sold on the day.

So why last week were they saying it was all ticket and pushing white memberships, watch out Gus you'll be sacked in a fortnight after they've tapped up Mark Hughes. f***ing football administrators

Right, trains are seemingly still shagged so i'm not going into town now - have they said anywhere "unofficially" this will be pay on the day?

Just a word of warning - this game could well be in doubt if the weather doesn't warm up in the next few days. We've had freezing fog this morning and snow and ice is still thick on the ground here in Wycombe today. The approach to the ground is extremely hilly too so there's spectator safety to consider also.

If you've been watching the news of late, you'll have seen all the people who stayed the night in John Lewis store, bed department (about 1/4 mile from Wycombe's ground) on Monday because it was like the film set from the Day after Tomorrow round here. You had to see it to believe it. Just about everyone in my office took 5-6hrs to do less than 10mile journeys home, many took more e.g. Wycombe to Henley in 10hrs, Wycombe to Marlow took 8hrs. Hundreds of cars abandoned on every road round here, namely because it's like Brighton in topography terms and no one could get up any hills

Just got off the phone with the Wycombe ticket office and they say it's all ticket for BOTH home and away fans. Bizarre!

I think that's the official line.

When I spoke to them earlier, they said "if it's just 2 of you we'll be able to let you in".

From that, i'm inferring that you probably will be able to pay on the gate, but they only want to do that to small numbers as a last resort.

Bit of a shambles either way, what with there being no post and our ticket office closing down for Christmas tomorrow.

if its not pay on the gate i am probably not going to bother - trains could be f***ed, game could be called off and then its stuck on a tuesday. there is too much risk in buying one

Precisely. Just for the record, Wycombe is a really badly run club in many local fans eyes. I know several obviously and they often grip about bizzare decisions at their club; not just with tickets, but many aspects down the years. The home fans get equally frustrated it seems by the poor powers of listening to fans that they put up with. Just thought I'd share some local insights with you.
