Why on earth is this important? I am in the WSL and when the STADUIM gets going the noise level is great with us all getting behind the team. All this 'my stand is louder than your stand' make's us sound pathetic.

Just moved from WSU to WSL, and I am slightly worried about lack of atmosphere. If it is too quiet this year I will be off to the southeast corner ish, or south of east upper, bring on the polite banter!

Mind you there was a great band ,lots of girl singers in Dicks that night! Cant remember who we played - but we didnt lose!

I think competition between stands is good. As it pushes people to sing louder. I'm in the north, so naturally sounds louder.

I do believe the north get the rest of the ground going though on occasions. Like when we started the great escape against Barnsley or burnley (I can't remember). That was the best atmosphere I ever experienced. Even though we were 2 men down.

WSU has been the greatest disappointment at The Amex. There was a lot of talk about how it was going to be 'the place to be' last summer, but I honestly rate it as the place I would LEAST want to sit in the stadium. It's too high for a good view and the atmosphere is poor. It's totally outsung by the North at every single match.

This.

My son and I were in WSL right by the away fans - we were surrounded by a large majority of the undead - they couldnt be arsed to sing/chant or do feck all unless we scored. We once found ourselves singing albion/albion on our tods - with people giving us the STARE! WTF! Luckly there were just enough of proper fans around us to create a bit of noise. Thats why weve moved to East Upper this season. Hopefully none of the waxworks are following us up there!!!

In all seriousness do we think that maybe the northstand
will be a bit isolated next season... Certainly looks it from some great pics postd last week. Hope it keeps up a very good noise level as last season ably assisted by wsu. Sth wsu block g.
