Match deservedly ends 2-0 to Brighton. Didn't press as much once 2nd goal went in, but we didn't need too as Birmingham didn't show much after that. Connolly my player of the match

Brilliant watch. I hope Hope plays a first team squad in the Cup and the league.

Do we know when the full fixtures are announced.

I've wondered if the perceived quality of women's football was in part because of the lower crowds and the sort of atmosphere they played their games in. Now we've seen plenty of men's football in empty stadia and seen how it is not the same without a crowd, has anyone reconsidered their position on the quality of women's football?

Still not the best, but.........

This was a lot better than I’d previously seen, great structure, two committed sides, some nice football albeit a little slow.

Credit to Hope Powell as our team looked a lot fitter.

Will definitely watch when I can.

The quality in the past has been very poor, let's be honest. What we're seeing now is a much higher level of investment in the woman's game, larger crowds and most importantly more girls getting into it. It's great to see, and the quality will only improve.

Additionally, it's nice to see that Albion (and Tony specifically) are really helping to drive the future of woman's football here in England by investing significant money at the training ground - although that might have been put on hold because of Covid?

Gender debates are one for the Bear Pit forum. Posters on this thread have enjoyed a great game today.

Albion women have played in front of 5K crowds at the AMEX, which would easily be maintained if we had a home closer to the Albion. As I have said before Tony Bloom wants to build a stadium for them as he and the club see Womens football as a growth sport, which has been seen by huge crowds for WSL games.

Exciting season ahead for the Albion Women. I cannot wait to see them live again. Glad you enjoyed the game and quality the new players brought in today.

When I was last at the training ground, they main building steels were up and formed, the new pitches were still mud baths. I really look forward to seeing how the Elite Training Center will look. I am excited by the millions invested and if I had a youngster involved in the youth set ups, it would be amazing to see them in the set up there.

Hopefully the next programme may show us some pictures of how its coming along.
