What is it with people thinking if we get more than 11 good players that someone surely has to be on there way?!
To get out of this or any other league you need to have a SQUAD of good players, this includes a mixture of experience and prospects for the future with cover for all positions!
Just because we now seem to have number of good players in one position doesnt mean we HAVE to be losing Virgo or Elphick. At last we could be in the position where we dont have to worry about our back up players being shit or having to loan in other teams cast offs to cover gaps in our squad!
Having said that though I agree we may see a couple of players loaned out but this will be to our benefit or to fit our needs.

100% agree with that... we sign someone in a key position, and somehow it turns into a negative!

Really pleased with this signing... just the midfield to sort out now, and a replacement for Murray if he leaves...

175k ish for a conference player - blimey just how good is this kid??

Where has 175k fee come from. All we know if Crawley turned down 100k and somehow that means we paid 175. Could be 100k with add ons for all we know

Will be 175K after add on's. Least that's what Jake Wright was told by Crawley and he should know as he gets 10% of his transfer fee. :p

Ok, so Wright becomes the 8th man Slade has brought in and it's pleasing we've beaten other clubs to his signature. I'm a little surprised we haven't gone for some experience, a wise old head, at the back but there you are. Some experience and a creative type to strengthen the midfield is now essential as it's still by far the weakest area of the squad.

Just been chatting to mate who follows crawley and he reckons last season Wright was the stand out player in their team and he voted for him as player of the season using the words, "He's bloody brilliant".

Sounds good to me.
