So why aren't you applying for tickets? It's postal applications and looking like you'll have no problem in getting them-unless the game means something in which case there'll be a scramble. Order them now and you should be alright.

Leaving downtown N.Somerset around lunchtime on the Friday and spending two nights (drunken, I hope and expect) with many like minded folk from around the globe in Wrexham.

Wrexham is but a short distance from the Bracknell ancestral estate in Cheshire. We shall be visiting the old dowager on the Friday, touching her for the price of a beer or two, and then tootling off to Wrexham to practise dealing with Welsh bar staff.

Should come in handy at the end of May.

The GDC will be travelling up to Chester on the Friday for a spot of racing. We then pop over to Wrexham on the Saturday (15 minutes Ivor the Engine willing) to see the Pride of Sussex tonk the woad coloured natives before returning to Chester for an evening of fine wines, women and song.
