Don't know if it makes any difference at this stage of the week, but the club have confirmed that it will be pay on the gate for Albion fans, as we have only sold just over 1000. So if anyone knows of anyone who wants to go............ spread the word. the more the merrier.

I heard this arvo that it was rather less than 1000.

Oh well, it will still be a GALA day out for the HARDCORE, minus the SHOWBOATERS:lolol:

Why do the club insist on making away games all-ticket only for the home club to allow pay on the day? I have lost count of the number of times this has happened.

Nothing to do with Brighton. Home club decides all the ticketing rules.

Wrexham probably didn't know how many to expect so made it all ticket and then when they found out they said it could be pay on the day.

I think it was the local police who wanted it all-ticket for away fans. Albion had nothing to do with it.

Watch out for the speed cameras if you are driving up. They WILL be loaded and ready to prosecute!

Not strictly true. Brighton, through Sussex Police, often put pressure on home clubs to make our games all-ticket. When the police make a 'recommendation' the home club often obey.

Something to do with paranoia over Falmer was the rumour.

I'm sorry Tubthumper but I don't agree.

Last year it was the Humberside police who caused all the grief about how many went.

The home club make their own decisions combined with local police advice not Sussex police.

1000 brighton fans is bloody brilliant, teams closer than you bring less than that to wrexham, the away end holds 3000, you'll just have the top tier id imagine, if i was you, id go in the far right end of the stand, thats where all the chants / banners etc will be, 1000 so far from brighton would be great.
