Well done you lot!
If you haven't done it already - make sure his neighbours are on your side. Talk to them, pointing out exactly why you're doing what you're doing. Someone said he doesn't live there any more - find out where he IS living and do the same there too..
And the same person says his kids are now adults - if they are, since they will be materially benefitting from his disgusting behaviour they deserve a bit of peaceful
protest as well..

Maybe I'm just being really dim but is this for real or has someone hacked the official website?

I can't believe that is actually a proper statement - it appears to be written by a nine year old with the faintest grasp of English.

As for the car, presumably that's one they brought with them and left there?

Quite how piling a load of boxes in front of someone's gate constitutes vandalism I really don't know.

Anyone else get the impression that whoever posted this information on behalf of the chairman on the official website has his/her tongue firmly in cheak. Why else post ALL the pix? I think this has given the campaign a massive boost and may wake people up who were unaware of what is happening. Either that or it's an awful SIW!

It's getting really serious ...

Hamilton is now threatening to withdraw his money and NOT to defend the Club against action by the Inland Revenue.

From the WFC official website:-

20/10/2004

Statements from Board of Directors

At a board meeting held at the Racecourse Ground on Wednesday, 14th October, the directors and secretary, club accountant and football manager Denis Smith gave full consideration to the conduct of certain people claiming to be supporters of Wrexham AFC. They have committed intimidating, threatening, unlawful and criminal conduct at the residential home of Chairman Alex Hamilton.

These actions have included:

1.Harassment after midnight on consecutive weekends by pressing gate bell and causing anxiety to Chairman's family including young children at the property.

2. Revving car engine outside gate of driveway at 1am.

3. Depositing dozens of cardboard boxes onto the Chairman's driveway on Saturday morning, 2nd October.

4. Theft of Royal Mail from letter box on Saturday morning, 2nd October, including correspondence from Solicitors, travel agents and landscape gardener.

5. Contacting landscape gardener instructing him to cut-down hedge.

6. Conspiring to attend ManchesterAirport to impede Alex Hamilton and family going on a half-term vacation.

7. Vandalism of son's car.

In the certain knowledge that these activities will lead the culprits to be subject to criminal investigation and prosecution, they have sought to conceal their identities, whilst at the same time bragging to their squad on red-passion website.

Alex Hamilton and family have been threatened by text message, e-mail and anonymous telephone calls with death threats, injury and vandalism.

The Greater Manchester Police, Trafford branch, have taken note and are monitoring Hamilton's home. Hamilton has been supplied a direct line to emergency police connection in the event of further threats, intimidation or illegal conduct.

In the event of further threats or vandalism to Hamilton's home or person, Alex Hamilton will immediately withdraw his loan capital from the football club's bank account, so far as there is cash available in the bank account to facilitate the withdrawal. Alex Hamilton has loaned to the football club £235,000.

Alex Hamilton and his family have been the victims of criminal conduct and personal harassment, which the Wrexham board believe has been the potentially foreseeable consequence of the vituperative language and commentary in the Wrexham Evening Leader (reports and editorial), the fanzine 'Dismal Jimmy' published by Lindsay Jones and also the defamatory BBC programme "Week in Week Out".

Wrexham AFC acknowledges receipt of monies from Alex Hamilton since March 2002 of the total sum of £632,500, in the absence of which the club would have closed down within the last two years including this summer. The football club acknowledges that Alex Hamilton's savings account has been reduced by the sum £632,500 which has paid to the club by way of interest free loan and or payments for disposable assets at the request of the club's former directors and officers.

In view of the vitriolic attacks on him, his family and home by the Wrexham Evening Leader, BBC Wales's Louise Elliott and others. Alex Hamilton's family has persuaded him not to commit a £200,000 further loan to the club towards meeting inland revenue debt accumulated during Pryce-Griffiths - Guterman eras.

It may now be impossible for the club to avoid administration and or liquidation in the short term.

True fans can take the matter up with the editor of the Wrexham Evening Leader and Louise Elliott of BBC Wales, who will be enthusiastic to confirm in detail from the clubs cashier the receipts into the club. True fans can invite the BBC/Louise Elliot and the Wrexham Evening Leader editor to contribute £200,000 to the Inland Revenue in substitution of Alex Hamilton's savings if they have the football club at heart.

Alex Hamilton has since taking up an interest in the rescue of Wrexham AFC defended the football club from the risk of administration and liquidation at a cost to him of £632,500 to date.

Alex Hamilton has made a final commitment to the football club by agreeing to pay from his own pocket Simon Spender's wages until the end of July 2005 provided the club is still trading.

Signed Alex Hamilton, Chairman of the board

There's a distinct sense of de ja vu here ... take sme back to some of the threats by Archer.

I sincerely hope - with home crowds dwindling - that the statements by the cub my wake up the sleeping North Wales public and those from further afield to GET INVOLVED.

Maybe the end of January Fans United day needs tp be brought forward .... will chat to Wrexham friends and see what the options are.

You are quite right .... this is VERY serious .... okay off to AA now ... back later!

that is SUPERB!! :lolol: :lolol: :lolol:

on the serious matter though... if he withdraws the 200k it would really leave them in dire straits. could the inland revenue not hold off for 'mitigating circumstances' or something similar due to the criminal way the club has been run??

sorry, i know NOTHING about tax law, etc!

My goodness - conspiring to attend Manchester Airport sounds like a very serious charge. The sort of thing anybody should be banged up for years for!

Does he really think all football fans are so stupid that they will be scared off by a few
phrases trumped up to suggest serious legal trouble?

He's clearly in need of a Bellotti like figure who, for all his many, many, many, many (x1000) faults, was good at presenting a case for Archer that sounded very plausible to outsiders... political experience came in handy. This guy can be seen through by anybody with half a brain - naming and 'shaming' journalists who, by the sounds of it, are doing an excellent job will just make everyone even more suspicious.

What is the point of this thread? Muslim Terrorists do hide their faces - we see it on TV every day! ???

I see nothing racial in this, it is not suggesting that all muslims are terrorists, but making a statement of fact.:shootself

One - he is comparing AFC Wrexham fans to Moslem terrorists. FFS he is a slimy two-bit businessman not a trigger-happy counter-terrorist psychopath.

Two - why specifically mention Moslems? Indeed, do all Islamic militant groups use these methods? Why not, say, ETA, or Corsican separatists, or the Baader-Meinhof, or other groups who utilise urban guerilla tactics?

Of course, whether these groups are terrorists or freedom fighters is another debate entirely.

This is now scarily reminiscent of a certain Mr Archer. I'm really worried for Wrexham now, it's our duty as football fans to get rid of this wanker Hamilton - FANS UNITED WILL NEVER BE DEFEATED!

And that's what I think we may need ..... a MASSIVE fans united dday fairly soon - at least before Christmas.
Wrexham fans must up the ante now and get the national press on board ...

What about a York-style pitch invasion? Guaranteed publicity that way if it stops the game. I agree with OTLW that national coverage is what's needed, it played a huge part in saving us.

Just posted on their board.
From a personal perspective (and I do remember the mid 1990s all too well) I am willing to do what it takes to help.

Hamilton Out

The car with "Save The Racecourse" sprayed on it belongs to a Wrexham supporter!

I heard on the grapevine that the chairman's son's car was damaged slightly, there is no proof it was by Wrexham fans though.

Hamilton has taken the photos off Tony Harrison's website without his permission.

Could someone give me an objective view on this thread here that I placed on the Brentford rivals website earlier on today?

I thought I had explained myself clearly yet someone has told me to "grow up!".

Considering the football club I've supported and loved for 23 years is in danger of becoming extinct I can't believe someone could make a comment like that.

I believe Hamilton's comment is potentially racist and shouldn't have been said by someone in a position of authority.

Does anyone disagree with me? To be honest it's the support of the likes of you guys at Brighton and some other fans from clubs such as Doncaster, Swansea, York, Darlington and a few others which is keeping me going because it seems our own support is just too apathetic at the moment to make a difference.
