i reckon i could be good at it, but i much more enjoy covering the thing in tape and watching the recipient STRUGGLE to get it open. especially if their hands dont work very well, like my grandads

I'm almost as bad as Drumstick at wrapping....by the way, D, is that pressie to Biscuit an actual (chicken) drumstick? Shape suggests it's a possible!

My sisters are both very good at wrapping pressies. Come to think of it I'm still trying to get into a sqaure shaped mystery gift from 1984.:rant::rant:

I'm brilliant at it, essentially because I had a job once which involved lots of packing (as in up to 100 boxes or objects a day), and still do it in a specially-trained manner in my current job. The irony is that I don't celebrate Christmas and haven't had to wrap any Christmas presents for 15 years now.

That sounds like Mr B, he uses so much tape wrapped around it and really tight you have to take a pair of scissors to it, so by the time you have opened it you are so pissed off you aint interested in it anymore!

Women are class at wrapping. Blokes (I think) can usually wrap something box shaped. It isn't too hard.

It's the opposite in our house. I'm fairly useless and Ned is very good at it.

I pay the volunteers on the Cancer Society stand to wrap them for me, if I try it myself and its not a perfect box shape, its going to end up having an independent superstructure of paper and tape around it that takes about three hours to get in to...

i always thought that by challenging my gift recipients with the tough task of undoing the present, it would build up suspense and tension into what it was, and make them more grateful of what was concealed inside
