I'm surprised there wasn't a reaction from local men the night it happened. I would like to think that if that happened in London it wouldn't be long before a group of citizens got together and rounded up the criminals.

Not doubting but why did people not "have a go" in Rotherham, Rochdale etc, and why when demos were set up opposing what had gone on were they vilified/given bad press/shut down or banned. In other words it is not acceptable to "have a go".....otherwise why did it not happen here in similar circumstances.

They;re not similar circumstances. In Rotheram etc the girls were selected young, groomed, and abused over a period of time for sexual gratification with an effort made to cover the crime up. In Germany all females were targeted for theft and sexual assault used as intimidation and distraction in public.

Very true. There is one thing for certain, there is a big problem and none of the politicians want to deal with it. To deal with it, means dealing with another culture and religion and we all know how politically correct this has become.

Anyone listen to the Jeremy Vine show today discussing this ? A British girl was out there for New Year, horrendous experience. He also spoke to a German lawyer who drinks regularly in a bar near the station in Cologne. He says this kind of thing has been happening for the last few years, but is just getting worse and worse, peaking on New Years Eve. He says he, and staff at the bar have intervened numerous times. Seems like the Cologne police are as shit scared about upsetting the PC Brigade as there comrades in Rotherham, Oxford, Rochdale, Oldham etc were. Interestingly also said he has been to court a couple of times as a witness, as he's made citizens arrests, the accused are fined a small amount, which they don't pay because they haven't any money, then are released to do the same again repeat ad infinitum

Firstly I don't need warning by the likes of that lot. Secondly, I too have major concerns about unfettered immigration and Islamic attitudes to women. The right wing idiots on here don't have the exclusive rights to being concerned about immigration. I am very concerned about elements of immigration.

I am also concerned that this board is being used as a vehicle for far right attitudes and personal abuse of those who "dare" to disagree with them. The last few months on here have seen a rise in the unchecked aggression from the likes of Bushy/Alfredmizen and Soulman. Bushy even going so far as to find my phone number online, call me up and threaten me. It's a nasty streak that is getting too prevalent on here.

Firstly if you are serving it up you are going to get it back.

Secondly if you are advocating policies or sneering at peoples opposition to policies that are compromising the safety and welfare of other posters and their friends and kin, or are percieved to be advocating that threat then you and others can expect a lot more than nasty phone calls.

Hopefully this incident will force Merkel's hand. This can't go on.

Infringing on their human rights.....Mayor of Cologne (who is female) has said the women are to blame and they need to change the way they dress/behave.

Exactly, just read the post below yours by Crookie which sums up the reactions here and in Germany, so alike.
I have been saying this for years like many, and have been vilified and insulted and tarnished....now it is happening in Germany some are sitting up and taking notice.
Perhaps if the media had put up reports when it was happening in Sweden (where the police also swerve/do not go in certain areas) it might have saved a bit of slagging off of those with concerns who have no problem with the other races/religions that seem to integrate rub along quite nicely and respect the laws and traditions of the country that has taken them in.

Right, firstly you need to read posts properly. I don't advocate unfettered immigration and I certainly don't advocate criminals coming in unchecked. There is too much immigration. I have stated that on here in many threads but , like aa few others on here, you immediately jump in with aggression. Paris and Texas scared the shyt out a lot of people.They feel threatened by it either directly or indirectly, for themselves or others. Do you thing its a good idea to antagonise these people?
