It’s woven into the fabric of our culture and language/terminology like the privvy council, royal ascent, commons, lords and a National Anthem, that talks to the ruler/monarch rather than the nation and its citizens. It’ll take generations to unpick it. But a start would be…

Reform of voting system and electoral boundaries and the abolition of an unelected second house together with moving Parliament to a modern, fit for purpose building with no reference to commons & lords, plus a new National Anthem. The Royal Family should play no part in Government including royal ascent and regular chats with the PM. The word Royal should be removed from all day-to-day governmental systems/procedures.

We can continue to have a constitutional monarch but the tendrils of their influence over the establishment needs to be massively diluted and that starts with systemic change and modern language/terminology.

sensible, can't see the turkeys from all the political parties voting for Christmas though, we need some kind of revolution.

We do run on some archaic system that is in drastic need of an overhaul top to bottom.

I underwent an Army attestation ceremony 45 years ago and swore allegiance to our late Queen, her heirs and successors.
