Pulis is in a very similar position to what happened to Garcia , he'll walk away if he isn't given the budget he believes will progress the playing side.

Nothing at all to suggest he won't be fully backed, he was by Parish in January and the noises coming out of the club in the past week are that talks between the 2 about the upcoming season's budget have gone very well.

Surely surplus to requirements up the road with all their gazillions of pounds. He still lives locally, loves the Albion and never wanted to leave in the first place.

So, if a deal was struck, would you be happy?

(Note: I have no information to suggest this is any way likely at all)

Yes, absolutely. If he's fit enough.

It could end in tears , Pulis is the tracksuited version of Harry Redknapp.

One thing I did learn about Glen Murray the other day - he is a total and utter anorak on indie music; a vinyl junkie and very knowledgeable on many aspects of music.

He'll buy music by bands most of us haven't heard of, and play it to anyone whether they want to listen or not.

He has a total immmersion in the sound, we were told.

Nothing wrong with that. There are far worse things he could do with his spare time.

In a similar position to most in demand managers, however it doesn't really equate to the line 'assuming he's leaving', to which the poster you quote was replying.

The Mirror report of April 28th suggests that Pulis is demanding a £30M transfer pot. He walked away from Stoke after they spent millions because the Stoke board dug their heels in over his spending sprees.

It could but that's life, anything can happen. Sounds like your desperate for it to happen, don't blame you, we are in a very strong position at the moment and a million miles ahead of you, a lot of that is down to TP.

Do you think you can handle the boredom of Tony Pullis style football for the next 10 years?

Very difficult to argue against Pulis being just like Redknapp, who repeatedly bankrupts and relegates clubs, leaving them in a far worse state than when he joined. Another classic insight from one of my favourite posters.

The common denominator between Pulis and Redknapp is spending money without any regard of the consequences.

You've obviously not seen us play. We play nothing at all like Stoke. The football has been very enjoyable including memorable results against top sides like Chelsea, Everton and Liverpool.

No doubt I'll be accused of bias, but the Palace fans on the BBS seemed far more enamoured with the football being served up by Pulis than the Brighton fans were with that being served up by their manager. Hard to say if Palace's PL players were also more satisfied than their Brighton counterparts though.
