But of course, sorry if it came over a bit aggressive,I was trying to sound like Tony Soprano, works better saying it than writing it. No offence taken at all:smokin:

I have the Mauritius home shirt. I am sure there is some kind of regulation relating to a shirt's quality correlating to the team's FIFA world ranking - the Mauritian home strip is so tacky, cheap and completely crap, but I love it, it's quality!

Haven't got a different shirt myself but my sons' had Irish and Polish shirts when they were younger (through their grandparent's nationalities).

I certainly didn't have a problem with it.

Whilst on holiday in the Algarve I bought my youngest a Porto shirt because he liked the colours - well they are Blue and White!

"We" were never an ally of the Confederates. The British Government considered joining the Confederates against the USA to check the growing power of that country. Plus, the Confederates had closer economic ties to the UK than the USA did.

But the general public in Britain sympathised with the USA not the Southern slave states. Making a war against the USA potentially very costly and certainly unpopular and pointless.

We may no have sent fighting men but the British Government and British arms industries provided logistical support and are considered by the many 'Proud of being Southern' inhabitants of these parts as friends of the British. Most of the Confederate States are former British Coplonies and thus there are connections here form there as well. You won't fuind many Irish decendants in Tennesee or Georgia or Alabama either for that matter. The Carolinas are similar.

i've got a barcelona top (well nice) and all of bhafcs and both of englands and when(if) nathan jones plays for wales i will buy there one too - AND THATS IT!

For the first time, I sang along with 'Star Spangled Banner' last night at the Dodgers game. I felt like having a sing, and my feelings about US concerns abroad aside - I like the sentiment behind the "land of the free" .

Still, I have trouble with exaltations about the Queen and Royals, so singing our own national anthem doesn't work all that well for me either .

Well, it's too small for me and I have quite enough toilet paper to keep me going at the moment.

It's a souvenir, that's all I'm saying!

No. The England and Albion ones are the only football shirts for me.
