I have a flat 3 miles from Villa Park and won't be going to it. The biggest party will be in Brighton on that day and I would rather go back down to Brighton to be part of that atmosphere

When BHA won promotion at Newcastle in 1979 we decided to head to Scarborough after the game for obligatory pi$$ up. After a few jars in local pubs with plenty of other BHA fans, it just didn't seem right that we were not back in Brighton celebrating so we jumped into our car and headed back down south for the Sunday parade.
