I would normally by very happy with a point at Palace but this time ,should we manage it, it will be tinged with sadness. In my 51 seasons of supporting the Albion I have never been able to say "we are the top team in the the whole of the English leagues at this moment in time" . it will be seen around the world - it may only be for a few days but it will be something to remember with pride.
