I just want to attend home game with all crowd thinking we have a real chance . A maximum 1 down will achieve this. Anything above a 2 goal deficit will mean attendance will be well down

If they win 1 nil then they would surely low block the living daylights out of us for 95 minutes at the Amex, they will have certainly done their homework and the odds are the more desperate we get, no doubt they will break and score another,I'd be on the side of go for it there tomorrow night and roll the dice. So no I wouldn't take the 1 nil at all.

Part of me thinks a 1 goal loss would be better than a 1-0 win. A team that approaches the second leg knowing they have to win come in hungry and put more effort. A team defending a lead will sit back, and then when they concede have to change their approach and struggle to take back momentum and end up losing overall. And coming back from 1 goal down isn't too much of a mountain.
That part of you that thinks that is out of your mind.

A bit of a black and white poll. We can do better than a one goal defeat BUT losing by a goal in the away leg is no disaster. Would certainly take any kind of draw.

Please just don’t do a Villa!
I’ll be watching through a gap in my tightly clasped hands.
Stay within touching distance for next week, so at least we can be at AMEX with a shout

Will he play same way or will go low block 10behind ball to give us a chance?
He surely doesn’t want to get done again with high press, high intensity again!
Really interesting how he sets up

On Monday yes. Now less so. All the stuff I’ve listened to and read on Roma is that their weakness is in defence so all this low block paranoia could be unjustified.
Our starting 11 tomorrow will be nothing like Saturday. Gilmour is back and that is very important to how we play.
The stuff about their atmosphere, bollocks, their stadium is West Ham, not Marseille, pitch is miles away from their ‘ultras’.
I have a feeling that we’re going to give as good as we get tomorrow.

I’d much rather not but leaving Rome with a one goal deficit means we are still very much in the running. I’d say it’s about bloody time it clicked for us and go out there and give it everything. So no, I don’t want to come away with a loss, but as long as we are still in with a shout for the second leg I’ll be happy enough.

1-0 down you usually feel you are always still in the game but it might as well be 10-0 if you dont score. Personally I want a minimum draw because attending a game when we are already losing before the game kicks off isn't a good feeling at all. In fact I dread the thought we might be 2-0 or 3-0 down. Unfortunately we haven't been playing great lately so I think it will be the toughest test we have had for a very long time.
