FA Cup. There is no substitute for winning a trophy, a chance for this team to write themselves into Albion history.

FA Cup or a champions league place?
A position I never thought I would ever see as "realistic" for little old Brighton to be in.
Has to be FA Cup for me

I'd take 4th place. The FA Cup will come round again. I'm not convinced that one Chelsea get themselves together, and Newcastle spend big, that the Champions League will.

Clearly I’m in the minority here, but I’d rather finish 4th. The FA Cup will still be there, when would we ever realistically have a chance of finishing 4th again? Almost all of the big 6 are in transitionary seasons, it’s not going to happen again. The chance of having Real Madrid / Milan / Barca etc at the Amex and away is just too big to turn down. Plus it would do far, far more for the reputation of the club among potential foreign signings than an FA Cup win would.

I’d take winning the FA Cup if it meant getting relegated, but passing up on the Champions League would be too big.

FA Cup. The game's about glory.

Finishing 4th has never made anyone a champion. You don't even get a medal for it in the Olympics.

Winning silverware is tangible history. Qualifying for the Champions League might be good memories but ultimately doesn't mean much long term.

Technically, winning the FA Cup gets you into Europe. Not the Champions League, but Europa League, which I would be happy with.

Silverware and a European tour? Count me in....

Who'd have ever thought that an Albion fan would be in a position to consider even one of those two things to be a real possibility, let alone both in the same season. Astounding daze
Of course, a thread like this guarantees, that if we are lucky enough to beat Grimsby, we get Man City in the semi final.

FA cup all day. We have a charity shield, so it’d just be a target of winning the PL (which may take a tad longer) to have our name on all three.

An FA Cup win would be immense for the club. I'd take that over CL qualification any day of the week.
