I actually voted Us....feeling nervous, but still (just) optimistic.

You’re a long time fan so you know we are completely capable of ****ing it up, only this time the others have to catch us and we are very much in control of our destiny....at the moment

Odd question. If we were in their position, how many would fancy our chances of making up a 7 point deficit with 6 games left with broadly similar run-ins ?

The OP is getting laughed at for asking what appears to be a stupid question. However we know that some people have expressed a preference for the Championship over the PL, obviously those people would much rather be in Southampton's position as they stand a much better chance of being in the Championship next year than we do.

No one who want us to stay up wants to swap obviously.

The dull part of the south coast
I'm having a bout of nerves, and spent most of yesterday afternoon examining the league table, remaining fixtures, Southampton message boards, etc. Obviously our run-in is a nightmare, and whilst we're 7 points ahead of Southampton, they seem to have two or three very winnable games. Plus, we could easily be mullered by Spurs/Man Utd/ManCity/Liverpool - resulting in a much worse goal difference.

Thou doth joke sir! Doth thou?

Out of curiosity which are the 2 or 3 winnable games?

Btw That poll vote, WOW.

What we have to remember is that with 3 games to go last season, it seemed easier to win the Championship than come second.

We all know the Albion way is never the simple solution.

Would still obviously rather have the points in the bag. In their position, we’d definitely get relegated.
