Without a doubt. A very talented footballer.

Not trying to re-sign him just looks like Bloom cutting off his nose to spite his face.

Absolutely. Whether we sign Murray, try to extend Bent's loan or sign another player, we definitely need a target man in January. Murray would be a great option!

His forward play yesterday was class.

Held the ball up.
Neat flicks and great link up play.
Hassled our defenders.
Great snapshot with his left.
and he scored two goals.

Everything we've been missing from a centre forward this season......

Of course, but the bigger question is would he want to come back. Lives in city, but got abuse while he was here (God knows why) and has dogs amount of abuse every time he has been back. Doubt he is a big fan of those at the top either

Definately of course ....He was the difference .One thing GM does not like is being knocked about and hassled,he is a big lump himself but has never liked the physical side, and when our players realised that he was less effective but still a huge threat.

No - not a believer in players, managers, (or any employee for that matter), returning once they have left - the original 'magic' never seems to be there and more often than not ends in disappointment for both employer and employee.

I just can't believe the amount of stick he got. No one could blame him from leaving. His contract had run out and he was offered much better money elsewhere. OK, it was Palace, but from his point of view he cpuld still live down here and commute, and earn enough money to set him up for some years to come.
He was on the end of everything Reading put into our box and held up the ball superbly, always being an outlet ball. Substituting him cost Reading 2 points yesterday and saved our day.

It's a yes from me and this pretty much sums it up.

Absobloodylutely. I am willing to be the bigger man and apologise on bended knees for calling him names for going 'up the road' but if a job offer came in that was better for him, good luck to the bloke......plus he can scores goals with or without a ball???
