I have adults that sit near me at the Amex that can't last 45 minutes without a trip to the toilet so asking a year 2 to only go in a break is a bit much

Yeah but if the year 2’s have had 5 pints of Harvey’s before school, that changes things surely ?

Yes. If a child needs to use the toilet, why the hell would you prevent them from doing so. Completely ridiculous.
If you can't act, teach. If you can't teach, teach primary.

Lessons vary from an hour to 2 and a half hours. If a child has a medical problem they bring a note. Teachers have to wait too.
