I wouldn't start Orlandi purely because he seems the type to slowly come back to form from an injury. Could be wrong though.

This. He doesn't look like a DM at all long term. Much more a Yaya Toure force through the middle.

I'd tweak this slightly, as I think he's more like Patrick Vieira than Yaya Toure. The latter has an amazing creativity, goalscoring, free kicks, etc that I'm not sure either Vieira had or Ince has or will have. Wouldn't be displeased to be disproved on this though

I think the real dilemma for Oscar today is who to put on the bench.

I've not voted as I want Bridcutt back (probably for one of Lopez or Conway, with Jake playing on the left) today, and a bit of game time for Orlandi with a view to these two both starting on Tuesday. But I trust in Oscar to make the right decision.

I think he's more similar to Yaya Toure as he's strong, direct and powerful. He isn't particularly neat or good at passing, so wouldn't say he was that similar to Vieira, except for winning balls with his long legs.

Away from home I would start Ince and Bridcutt. Would also like to see Crofts (form man) and Orladi involved (for creativity) too.

I have to say, regardless of which team he picks today I've got respect for the fact that Oscar didn't simply pick Bridcutt and Orlandi just because they were available. He's shown belief and loyalty to the players who have been doing a good job.

Agree about winning balls and those long legs, but Vieira had those too along with Yaya Toure (which is one of the loveliest names in football). I would describe Vieira precisely as strong, direct and powerful, and would describe Toure as neat and good at passing alongside all those things I indicated in the previous post, not that Toure isn't strong, direct and powerful.

The current midfield is IN FORM. Crofts scoring for fun, Caskey getting great chances left and right and Ince putting in MOM performances game after game. We shouldnt mess with it unless we have to.

No! We have got through reading, QPR, Wigan without 2 CDMs what is this boards obsession with playing 2 CDMs?

Bridcutt looked back to his normal excellent self, Orlandi looked rusty. Both will have benefited from the game time.
