I couldn’t care less. Tony fired him. He’s free to go where he wants.

We don’t know this for certain, do we? Could well be that he said he wanted to leave so Bloom let him go rather than having an unmotivated manger.
We don’t know for certain Lord Lucans dead but it’s pretty likely

Kaoru Mitoma and Solly March against a Roberto De Zerbi-led Chelsea defence.
Nothing to boo, plenty to celebrate.

We do know that RDZ had 2 years left on his contact, in which case there’d have been a termination agreement of some sort. If it was Bloom sacking him, he’d have likely had to pay RDZ some sort of settlement fee. However, seeing as it’s reported that we’d be due 5m in compo, I’m guessing that the departure was initiated by RDZ.

We fired him but are due a fee from a club that takes him on. Seems unlikely we fired him. It suggests we agreed not to hold him to his contract but popped in a clause to ensure we got some reward if he took a job quickly. The unknown part from what’s been reported is whether we paid/are paying him anything. That would be mutual.
