would things be different if wilkins had stayed as coach?

In the field
1) There is no point discussing this because he is not here and it will do not good causing anymore arguments.

2) Obviously things would be different but for all we know we might be bottom of the league after a HUGE disagreement between Wilkins and Adams, who knows?

Ask yourself the same Q if you had just managed a team of shall we say average players got them to gel play a certain way and finish a very creditable 7th in the league, would you then agree to step aside and watch the team you built then be run by somebody else as you sort out the drinks and write down a few notes on matchdays?

Sure, and Booker's role is Reserve Team Coach.

Whos Who

which in fairness was Chapmans role under Wilkins but he also incorpoated the duties of 1st team coach.

My ideal make up would be:

Adams manager
Booker ast manager/res team manager.
First Team Coach ?? A N Other ( as they used to say if they didnt know who it would be) a recently qualified coach who was an experienced player.
White Chief Scout
Lloyd scout reporting to White;

sack the lot and start again !!!only way to move forward imo

Yes.
I think DW would have maintained the bettering of the squad in the out-season, and have had the existing players maintaining their form. He was also growing into the position with each month.

This season we've had no direction, little teamwork or gelling on the field, and a bunch of loanees who've baffled.

No I wouldnt sack anybody just redefine their responsibilities to our best advantage.

our Scouting System:

White was supposed to be identifying local (SE) talent and all he came up with was Loft.

Lloyd was doing the same in Europe and Ireland - nothing

Glenn Cockerill is an Albion scout - nothing yet?

what's happened to the link with Le Harvre - gone with Wlkins/Byrne? I thought it was an EEA initiative with grants, etc

Bragg/Hinshelwood must wander what their roles are - they spend years developing and coaching young players the right way then MA comes in and releases them or tells them football is played by kicking the ball as far and as high as you can.

there is no doubt in my mind that we have gone backwards this season in every department of the club? why ? cant be all due to the sacking of wilkins can it ???

as people seem to know exactly what role people have at the club and whether they are doing it correctly, can they tell me whether Sharon in Reception is being utilised to her proper skills aswell?

No?...I thought not!

There would be little point in Wilkins teaching the players how to play football only for Adams to want them to hoof it on a matchday.
