I don't really think anyone can argue it was anything less than a massive f*** up. so that's the end of that debate. the question people will then want to ask is is this player a liability and should he therefore be dropped? and the answer is very obviously no to both

Mistakes happen even with the elite keepers.

Unlike all other positions on a football pitch, goalkeeper errors are the most visible and costly.

It was unfortunate. It was a bread and butter save that he would catch 99% of the time.

These things happen even to the elite keepers.

Need to carry on keeping the faith and support for our top young keeper.

Yes but at the moment Sanchez wouldn't catch it 99% of the time would he? I've no idea but prove me wrong because i'm on a knife edge with him at the moment I've been defending him for the last 3 months and ive run out of steam. He needs a massive kick up the arse because he is good.

I'm talking about clean catches not those ive missed it but its bounced straight back into my hands ones.

IF we want to go up a level, Liverpool’s back up keeper Caoimhín Kelleher is quality. Already given match experience, he played in front of 90,000 in a cup final win. A penalties expert too. Looking to move on this summer apparently.

Surprised Palarse looked so poor, but that's because we made them look poor.
