I thought an interesting note in the Telegraph article was that he is a family man and his daughter is studying in London. Completely from me putting two and two together and getting 52, but I think we'll keep RDZ until all of his family are back in Italy, and then he'll go and be a wonderful manager somewhere in mainland Europe at a massive club that is closer to "home".

I think his next job will be in Italy or Spain, he's said in interviews he misses the sunshine while in England. I think he'll stay here as long as he feels there's progress to be made and then go to a Mediterranean giant for his next job.

RDZ is very much his own person. I don't think he'd take the 30 pieces of silver were it offered.

He'd have his pick of the top jobs in world football and would almost certainly take one.

But as a purist, there's part of me that hopes he'll go back to Ukraine sometime in the future.

There's unfinished business there through no fault of his own and I believe that he's a man of honour.

Some things matter more than money. I think RDZ understands that.

Chelsea is not the job it once was. The chairman knows nothing about football, there is a threat of failing FFP and being docked points / Europe, the culture is toxic, it is becoming a graveyard for managers. And yet the worse Chelsea perform the more likely it is they'll come in for him.

I was thinking yesterday about how welcoming other clubs and their fans would be to RDZ's style of football. We seemed to accept it from the off, seeing it as innovative. Maybe Potter's football had already taken us a small part way down the path towards RDZ's brand. Im sure most clubs would be on board with it, given how much its improved us, but would some see it as such a radical change (all the foot on the ball, and slow walking out from goalkeepers, baiting the opposition) that fans might say 'its not the chelsea way' or similar & be against it... Maybe all would be on board, I was just pondering if there was a few clubs that no matter how good RDZ is wouldn't go for the change in style so dramatically.

Kompany radically changed Burnley's style so anything is possible.

I don’t see him getting the kind of support offered by TB and Barber at any other club in the world. Like others who have jumped ship he would be a fool to do so. He can create a real legacy here that will put him at the top of the football tree. I think he is more into success than money.

If money is a big motivator then yes if it’s football then no .

The problem is getting a managers job is like winning the lottery at Chelsea .

Money especially huge sums is a motivator for most managers but I’m not sure about Roberto , he does seem to be principled & loves and lives football for the right reasons ,

So, if they come for him in the summer, it will mean that they'll have sacked not just Poch but another manager. I can't see any top manager going to a club with such a broken infrastructure ... unless they're paying absolutely bonkers money

I can't see him being very impressed with the other TB.

He seems to have principles, but you can never say never I guess.

We are third with half a squad fresh in to assimilate, most look insanely good. Why would he leave? A year in the Prem and your going to be minted anyway, I know money matters but they are not saving for old age and don't have injury worries.
