I think its becoming clear that we are finding it hard to attract any kind of decent manager.

Wondering how many of you would work for Dick Knight?

For me the problem is at the very top, how much longer can managers be made a scapegoat.

I for one don't want to go to falmer watching Conference South football.

Thanks for all you have done Dick its time to go, if he stays around due to fan nostalgia then we only have ourselves to blame.

I'm not sure how you can make that comment before we have appointed anyone. Fod god's sake it's only been 6 days since Micky left.

I would happily do any job for the Albion as long as they paid me.

Oh, and as long as they didn't want me to break the law - I wouldn't be willing to bump off ex-managers on Dick's behalf for money.

Depends. What is the job? how much am I being paid? what are the benefits, hours, etc? would I have to move? what are my responsibilities? what sort of authority do I have? what holiday hours do I get?

I would happily work for Dick Knight. But I would not become Brighton Manager due to some of the fans at this club. Too many people with no patience and no support. If my family or friends were ever to come to a game they would be appalled by the abuse. But Dick Knight is a good leader, someone who has stuck to his plans, his convictions, and carried on leading the club through an absolutely appalling situation, year after year, with little thanks opr appreciation. It's during crap times that you find out who good leaders are, and I think time will show what a good job our whole Board has done - not simply in keeping this club alive, but fighting for our future and ensuring the club has a lot to look forward to with Falmer.

Dubious. I would NOT work with or around Martin Perry.

1. How would you define a 'decent' manager given our average league position over many years and our financial resources?

2. Why would a potential manager not want to work for DK?

3. What would change as far as our potenial for finding a 'decent manager' is concerned if we had a new chairman?
