Living in the real world.
To be fair. We were just to side of them so I don’t think he was with them and a lot of people around him were more than happy to take my side so everyone around agreed he was a whopper.

My mums fine. This is a woman who took me to Palace away when I was 7/8, bit of football Agro won’t out her off. I think she was more shook about me kicking off, I’m 6’4 but normally a gentle giant. Everyone’s got their triggers though. Just a really disappointing black mark on a good day.

Good mate, hope it won't put you off going again. I'm seriously considering getting a season ticket at Worthing in a year or 2. A club on the up and I love non league footie

In a pile of football shirts
I’m moving to Littlehampton soon and have decided I’ll be going along to Worthing a fair bit

What beers do they sell there?

In the main bar they have Goose IPA, Which I tend to drink, Full range of drafts, a few nice bottle options, and cans, some local craft stuff, plus Gun brewery, Tiny Rebel. Not at all shabby.

Becks, Bud, Magners, goose ale, and a few others on tap. Doombar, London Pride etc on tap. Cheaper than most Worthing pubs too.

I’m debating it next year tbh. Today was my second game. My first was a 5-5 draw with Leatherhead so I was worried it skewed my judgement. Turns out it didn’t, was awesome despite the weather and result. Just need to make sure this one incident doesn’t get the best of me.

We’ll be doing the same when our 5 year ticket runs out, great value ST, excellent facilities, all round enjoyable experience, whats not to like?

Worthing drew 1-1 with Potters Bar in a tempestuous affair at Woodside Road this afternoon. Potters Bar took the lead in the 33rd minute as their giant forward latched onto a wind-assisted hoof down field from their keeper following a Worthing corner. From that moment on, PB's players took as much time out of the game as possible, several of them taking turns to have a lie down in the middle of the pitch in an exhibition that even Wilf might have found embarrassing.

Worthing found the equaliser in the 69th, a composed finish from Ollie Pearce. Both teams spurned good chances to put the game to bed, but a-point-a-piece was probably the fair result

The football isn't bad either ! I try to get down when I can but working every Saturday does not help that. I have to rely on fixture congestion and cup run postponements in order to get a few Tuesday night games in each season. Good fun, burgers are palatable, beer not too bad and sometimes some amazing football.

that Potters Bar striker was absolutely colossal, very impressive run for his goal for a man who is well into his 30's but I think some of the pace was wind assisted!

Thought 1-1 was just about fair despite the late chances for Worthing- remember Potters Bar missed an absolute sitter at 1-0

the wind was such a big factor
