Having last played over a week ago, boss Adam Hinshelwood has a fresh squad available to him, apart from the unfortunate absence of captain Darren Budd, who suffered a fractured fibula in The Mackerel’s humiliating 6-0 loss to Hornchurch last weekend.

Worthing are also without a win against Bognor since 2015 – that coming in a pre-season friendly thanks to a brace from Omar Bugiel, overturning a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 win.

When the sides met in the league last campaign, The Rocks took all three points after winning 2-0 at Woodside Road in December, before Jesse Starkey equalised for Worthing in the final few moments of the reverse fixture at Nyewood Lane in March, earning The Reds a 2-2 draw having being 2-0 after 20 minutes.

Should be 2 Albion youngsters featuring today.
Rocco Rees for Worthing and Ben Clark Eden for Bognor.
Should be a decent crowd as well and hopefully a better Worthing performance than the last 30 minute capitulation against Hornchurch last time out.
£8 if you show your Brighton season ticket at the gate.

Given the big rivalry between the fans it should be a cracking afternoon.

The Rebels are 2 up over burger Bognor, after 63 mins.

I'm not there despite living half a mile away, so score is from internet.

Come on Worthing Town!!!!

Not criticising you for not being there...

I'll be honest, I rarely go, but always watch the results.

I moved here 30 years ago from Brighton, and love Worthing and the great friends I've made, and I'm a Worthingite now.

Worthing is my home and I love it!

Any reports of chair luzzing?

I went last year, and loved it that both sets of fans are behind the goal, together, with one set singing a naughty song about the other's town, and the others let them finish, before singing their own back.

Brilliant!

I took my lad and a mate to see Shoreham win 4-2 this morning . . . . no VAR . . . plenty of incident and action, and all for a fiver. . . boys got in for free being club youth players.

3-0 FT, great entertainment, great atmosphere and a band playing afterwards.

A lad I used to go to all the away games with back in the day quit the Albion after years of service and went to support Lewis as soon as we got promoted to the PL. He just loved lower league football the away days to shit northern towns good luck to him.

I love queuing for a cracking burger and watching the game from about ten yards to your right!

Cracking ground, I really should go more.

The pulled pork isn’t too shabby either. Nice pint of Goose IPA to be had too.

Any reports of chair luzzing?

All good natured batter between the supporters of both sides with copious amounts of alcohol enjoyed pre-match pitch-side and plenty of bottle tops on display .

Bognor players and management though left in no doubt of their own fans opinions of their sides inept 2nd half performance .
