Food restaurant is awful, the same menu for years. I think it is aimed at 90 year olds and older. The istanbul is good and casa ciro is worth a go.

Was certainly full last Friday, mostly thirtysomethings. Piano player was a bit loud and uninspiring though. The food itself was reasonable, not fine dining by any means.

I am told that the best restaurant in Worthing by a mile is the Sylvan Oak at Findon. It is all dependant on the price that you wish to pay and what you consider to be VFM. Macmillans steaks are ok and VFM but certainly not fine dining surroundings. Indigo food is fair not good but to my mind very pretentious and not VFM.

This - nailed it in one post. Good work, but are you now on a diet?

Cheers.

Today I went to Istanbul restaurant (first time) - thanks people of NSC.
They do a two course luncheon for £9.95

Have to say it was very good.

The decor of the place was a bit tardy & there was only one other table being waited on, but the service was very good too.

Will be back.

Just got back from the chardonnay and can't say a bad word about the food. Was bloody amazing and such good value. The only downside was as stated above, it's like sitting in your nans lounge. Will definitely be going back though

Sorry to be picky but Findon isn't in Worthing - it's in Findon.

Food used to be ok but gone downhill, and hate the pretentious menu where there is a story about every dish. "I was strolling down the Champs Élysées when I thought why not serve a poached quails egg with black pudding sprinkled with shaved Parmesan. There I had it the black pudding de Paris"

Tried this one last year, after I noticed it was getting rave reviews on Tripadvisor. It felt a bit like judging on Masterchef, some nice ideas that didn't quite work, some brilliant touches and a couple of things that seemed to have been a bit rushed. The restaurant wasn't that busy that night, so we left feeling a little bit cheated. I guess the acid test is, if you plonked this restaurant in the middle of Brighton, or even the West End of London, would it survive ? I suspect not, but it seems to be doing okay serving locals, who don't want to go too far for a decent meal.

Been twice and honestly blown away. Food almost Gingerman norfolk square standard, which has always been what I judge any meal out against, but bit less stuffy. I mean when I moved to wortho I didnt think i d get a local as good

Went to Efes last night. Enjoyed the food and very reasonably priced for both food and drinks. Chefs Special Beyti kebab was very good.
