How's this for an update...

At around 730pm tonight, I found an envelope on the doormat addressed to my stepson.

Included therein was an unsigned anonymous letter explaining that they had heard about his mishap (as Dave Hunt at Splash FM had mentioned it kindly on air) and wished my step son a Happy Christmas and included £50 for him.

It's about the best 'kindness of strangers' gesture i've come across for a long time... if ever.
