Would have thought that Worthing would have done a cheap £1 deal for children under 10 to try to get them interested in going to Woodside Road, as I used to as a young boy, using BHA as the bait.

A good idea, and I might just pass as an under 10 myself.....well 30 years ago !!!

on worthing site it has prices listed for tomorrow as:

£10 adult
£5 concession & U16
Under 5's free

I think that Worthing rely on this game to give them a little pre-season fund injection. Not really going to work if they slash the prices, when they know most of us will come anyway.

My view is that the vast majority as you say will attend but I would have thought that they may have encouraged more 8 and 9 year olds who live local, on their own rather than with parents. Or is that not permitted now for children iof that age to be allowed to go to a football match on their own.

£10 is fair. Boost their coffers, 1.5hrs entertainment(debatable) anywhere decent is similar prices these days
