On the other hand, Geoff Pitcher was signed for an unspecified amount (Kingstonian were asking for £100k and it was never revealed what we paid but I bet it was closer to £100k than it was to a £1,000). He only played a couple of times and looked useless when he did - he's right up there with Thomas and Peake as lousy buys.

He started to play every week just before Taylor came in, looked good as well.
