we’re too slow in and around the penalty area, one too many touches or passes, their defence can get set so it fizzles out. Tonight Gross was the main culprit, he slows the game down too much.
[emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]sadly apart from when he popped up in Burnley’s box inside 30 seconds of the match and fizzed that ball back to Tariq...

(or all the other times when Pascal has been creating more chances for Albion in the Premier League THAN ANY OTHER PLAYER)

Gross is slow but he will always create chances. Good player IMO.

Thought he played well last night. He and Lallana creates loads of little gaps and opportunities. If Welbeck stays fit and starts to read what they’re doing, could be very positive going forwards. Half the people on these boards that post when things aren’t going well will disappear as they never post when things are!

Defence solid?
Ffs wake up
Shipped sooo many goals.
Look so shakey at every cross.
Incredible statement.

actually before last nights match we had only allowed the opposition 21 shots on goal. JOINT TOP with LIverpool. Burnley had 2 shots on target yesterday so thats now 23. I guess the issue is that we must be blocking a hell of a lot or preventing teams from shooting but when they do get a shot in, a high percentage are being scored!
