George Harrison - Bangladesh

Bangla Desh, Bangla Desh
Where so many people are dying fast
And it sure looks like a mess
I've never seen such distress

What the hell ...?

Sadly (and I'm a massive fan of Led Zep & saw them at Knebworth in '79) but the whole of 'In Through The Out Door' is f*cking gash. Not one track would have got on any of the earlier albums. If pushed Carouselambra - awful and just shows what booze and heroin can do to a Band :(

Happy Talk - Captain Sensible

What was that all about?

The story I heard was that he and his mates were in the pub one night talking about making lots of money. One suggested releasing a daft single that could get them some instant sales. Pissed as farts they decamped there and then to the studio and recorded it.In the background you can still, very faintly hear CS shouting out "I'm such a happy ****".

Come on Eileen is simply the most gargantuan pile of steaming horse shit I've ever heard.
I'm sure they are respected in some hovel of a caravan park in some burning corner of Croydon, but for me, I'd rather listen to crazy frog than this.

Arguably Dexy's second worst moment... after Jocky Wilson Said:

Invaders - Iron Maiden .

Not a bad call and universally accepted that Total Eclipse should have replaced it rather than being a B side. However, with regard to Maiden whom I'm a huge fan of may I suggest The Angel and The Gambler. Never mind Blaze but even Bruce could not rescue that track and those awful keyboard stabs.

And if we remain in the rock/metal genre may I suggest the complete St Anger album by Metallica as a complete abomination. No solos and a biscuit tin for a snare drum. Even they hate it now!
