If we're not properly at it against Villa, we're going to get hammered.

Next Saturday is ripe for the 0-0 from hell; neither side scored in last two; both lost games they should not have.

It was a very poor performance. It happens at top-level sport. That it hasn't happened before now is more the surprise. That it happened with a huge shuffle at the back, in horrible weather, against a team that is fighting for it's life, is less surprising. We are not a side that can slip below close to highest possible performance levels and win games, but then again, not many sides have that luxury. In all honesty I found it far kess frustrating than Tuesday night's defeat at Utd, where we had the game by the scruff of the neck. yesterday, we never looked settled, even in the very 1st exchanges. Burnley played well and took 3 chances very well.
How it impacts the team next week will be interesting. How it affects the crowd will be equally interesting.
