You say keeper, you mean striker who had gone in goal after the keeper had been sent off.

And yes, that was the shittest "on-target" pen I've ever seen. He just tapped it down the middle of the goal, and the "keeper" just hoofed it out.

Martin Palermo.
He's actually Boca Juniors all time leading goal scorer. Didn't play that much for Argentina but still scored goals and is a legend of their game.
He actually won all three penalties. You have to wonder how he got to take the third.

Ryan Harley's penalty miss v Millwall

Has anyone got a video of it? I recall it being the worst penalty I have ever seen but my memory may be playing tricks. I was reminded of it when I heard that Harley is missing for Exeter tonight. Presumably because they don't want him taking a penalty at the kop end not because he is injured.

Why would you even do anything fancy like that on a penalty? Even these stuttered run ups to get the keeper to dive early seem to bring an unecessary element of risk into the what should be a simple process.
