Oh yeah, a bloke at work, PhD graduate was born in London to Indian parents who though that Ford Prefect.....no, if only. They thought that a cracking name for their lad would be.......Pratish.

We have tried saying 'Prateeeesh' till we are blue in the face, but....:shootself

A friend’s relative called their son Aston. Their surname was Martin.

At school I had a teacher called Miss Almond. Her first name was Hazel.

:facepalm:

Hazel Almond sounds almost Bond girlish. Great name.

At infants school one of my daughters had a teacher called miss McKenzie. At about the same time Busted had a hit with 'That's \What I Go to School for' about a teacher called Miss McKenzie.......

I don't know if they knew my daughter's Miss McKenzie or not, but I'd have certainly gone to 3C and beyond with her!

My first landlord in Brighton had a mate who was a Pink Floyd roadie. He called his daughter Parody Tralala.

Round about the same time the Argus reported that the local registrar had refused a couple who wanted to call their newborn Beelzebub.

Mrs Jakarta taught at Whitehawk Infants where there was:

Bryan Ryan;

Jason Mason;

and most spectacular of all:

Humphrey Pumphrey.

If still alive the latter must be double hard b*stard after a start in life like that...
