.........Yids in my office after last night.

Going to chin one of them in a minute if he doesn't stop going on about how much money Chelsea have spent and how they didn't deserve to win last night.

That is all

Youre never normally so restrained when it comes to biffing someone.

I thought a Spurs fan might pipe up saying something about Wenger. :D

The FA should deduct points from the Sperms, after all, we had points deducted for a lot less when our club was in turmoil and heading for extinction.

bet they just get a small fine:angry:

Did you see the way several Chelsea players kicked the fan while he was on the floor. He thoroughly deseved it, but I'm surprised there has been no reaction about this. It went a bit further than self defense.

It was very Tottenham.
Promising build-up to the attack, great run and vision... then completely fluffed the finish.

You could clearly see Ashley Cole tapping the guy on the back with his boot, it was hardly a kicking - he obviously considered that the cameras would be on him and he couldn't use his full back swing... But when the guy went to take a swing at Lampard that was a very poor miss

Jamie Redknapp whining on about how it was potentially life threatening: FFS!

And as for suggesting the guy ought to go to prison for throwing a punch at a footballer- presumably he'd advocate the same punishment for every player who throws a punch at another player too- or is that different, Jamie?

The fact it happened to a relation of his completely warrants that point of view. If someone tried to attack my cousin, I'd want him to go to jail.

I'm not commenting on what the punishment should be.

Merely on the huffy attitude of Redknapp, which he blatantly would not be saying if it wasn't (1) his cousin and (2) a fan aiming the punch, as opposed to a player.

Life threatening, well I suppose so, but only in the same way that going to the shops might be life threatening, in case someone tries to mug you at knifepoint, or getting in a car might be life threatening, because you might crash, or even playing football might be life threatening, because an opponent might lose his rag with you and give you a good slapping?

Clearly the fan concerned is a complete toolbag, and will doubtless be punished by both Spurs and the law. But I just can't be bothered with the posturing from pretty boy Jamie.

PS they obviously don't justify the bloke running on the pitch, but I thought Chelsea's celebrations were massively over the top, provocative and frankly embarrassing. They call themselves a big club, yet they get that excited about a quarter final win over an average Premiership side? I could understand if they were non-league minnows having their day in the limelight, but they're the English champions! I bet I wasn't the only one thinking Ashley Cole in particular made a complete tit of himself.
