It's weird, my recollection was that it almost hit the corner flag.
It did neither and in the Premier League we see misses like that every week these days yet they are forgotten by the end of Match of the Day.
Odd how everyone's recollection of the event is far worse than it actually was. I'ts become an iconic moment in everyone's football psyche that isn't actually true.
