Oldham for me, in winter it has to be the coldest place on earth. Luckily we are going there in August! apparently it is the highest ground above sea level in the UK

It is indeed very chilly - those pennine winds are a bastard.

But WBA's The Hawthorns is actually higher - Boundary Park is second (in the league).

Apparently Buxton FC's Silverlands is the highest foootball ground used by a regular team in England.

These records all refer to England.

The highest in the Scottish league is Clyde's Broadwood Stadium, which is a lovely stadium utterly ruined by being home to a team that gets next to no fans. They only open one stand, and even then said stand is almost empty. The worst away ground I've been to in Scotland, for sure.

I like grounds like Barnet and Doncaster, weve had some good games there with a decent atmosphere.
My worse apart from Withdean is the old Wigan ground

Exeter is like a County League Ground,

Withdean is def the worst as it lacks everything a ground should have!!
We had a better atmosphere at gillingham and there was 4,000 less of us up there!!

Saltergate, Chesterfield. No handwashing facilities in the ladies loo. A bit on the essential side if you just changed a baby's nappy.
Too much information, sorry, coat on:shootself

The old chairman bankrupted the club to build the two new stands!

One of which they had the decency to open against us. The stand that was there before the new one was non league standard.

Hereford United / Edgar Street been there 3 times with only 100 Brighton fans (10/02/1988) to 4000 for the last game of the season and still could not get a decent view.

Northampton Town / County Ground first time I went there they put us in a cage on the side of the pitch and could not see anything.

Wigan Athletic / Springfield Park first visit was in 1987 it rain you had a grass bank to stand on and we drew 3 - 3 after the ref let two of there goals stand dispite being offside. The second time it snowed but we won 2 - 1 with a last minute winner from Kurt Nogan so no complaining there.

Worst Ground Abroad Has To Be This One

Have to agree, cold as Alaska, plastic pitch and we always took a hammering. Only decent thing about it was the pre game drink in Sinclair's Sammy Smiths pub in Manchester.

The coldest I've ever been (or most miserable) was at Sunderland at the Roker Park ground. We lost to a goal that was clearly offside. There were about 150 of us scattered across the open Roker End corner, in the middle of the winter when a rain storm containing half the North Pole whooshed in from the North Sea on a "bracing" Nor-Easter. Cold? I was about two beers from being a scientific exhibit.

Strangely enough i f***ing hate Carrow Road. Don't think i've ever been more pissed off at a postponement due their gay floodlights.

Apart from that i'd have to say i f***ing hated Bristol Rovers ground they shared at Bath, wanky.

I remember the Derby away game was freezing - i had this heavy coat on and i still felt cold! Pride Park looks better on tv but was a bit disappointing- certainly not the worst though! I also felt angry at the Carrow Road disgrace cos i couldn't go to the rescheduled match and quite a long journey for nothing!

Barnet the worst.

I hated Sudbury Town, I know there not leauge but it was a cow field.

I like Barnet maybe as i like the pub crawl on the way via london so im to pissed.

Withdean can not be classed as a ground!

Manchester.
Doncaster for me in 96, Now that ground is shit!

Followed by Wigan's old ground, went there in 88 on a cold wet windy tuesday night.

Me and my dad stood on top of this grass bank with a small tin roof over us that could proberly fit about 30 under it but we we couldn't find out as there was only 16 of us at the match :(
