Should we expect more comments like this now that the fan base is expanding due to the Amex, and the person involved may be a JCL, or is he just a complete NOBBER?

We were a bit Keystone Kops in the first half but after a Gus rocket at half time I think we had a fair chance to win in myself.

To be fair the first half performance was one of the worst I have seen for a long time, particularly from a supposed top-of-the-table team playing a team of also rans. The second half, however, was much improved.

Worse performance from an Albion team that I have ever seen. Especially the first half. The defense played pussyfoot in front of the goal-mouth instead of clearing the ball. That is how Colchester scored. I heard other Albion supporters too mutter around me in the stands about the abysmal Albion performance!

Probably just disappointed. Ipswich based, so perhaps has not seen much of us this season and the performance did not match the expectations of the Champions landing on his/her doorstep.

He said it was the worst Albion performance he had ever seen but in fairness didn't say how many games he had seen. If he had seen only a few he'd have a point. The first half was as bad as it's got this season and what with the heat in the away end and the traffic jam on the M25 perhaps he was just a bit short-tempered.

Their goal reminded me of a slow car crash. Ankergren started it and Caldy finished it off a treat.

First half was truly shocking but to say that's the worst they've ever seen is an amazing statement. He must not have seen any game in the first 6 months of last season!

... nnd we played like Barcelona in the first six months of last season compared to the first half of our last season at the Goldstone.

We played like Barcelona in the first half of our last season at the Goldstone compared to the following season at Gillingham.

Thank HEAVEN for Doncaster being the worst team ever that year.

I think we matched our performance at MK Dongs where we lost 1-0 , it certainly wasn't the worst.

This

96/97 and 97/98 were truly awful times ... I think the 2-0 defeat at Rochdale is one of the worst performances I've seen .. so bad a few of us felt it necessary to kick and bang the side of the team bus as it left for home

Neither here nor there
The goal was the sloppiest I can remember us conceding. Even my son's under-eights haven't had a moment like that in their own goalmouth this season.

lets be honest here, it dont matter. First half 2 out of 10 and a shocker with Noone the one shininng light. 2nd period 7 out of 10 and much improved. But as I say Season is over, it dont matter, we are champions.

My only worry would be, but I am not sure if "champions and nothing to play for" had an impact but some players dont look championship standard and Gus would have seen that today. In my opinion, Woods and Elphick (who i have a great deal of time for) let them selves down today and may regreat that come end of season.

The 4-0 home defeat to Darlington in 1998/99 takes some beating

So, wicked priest, the worst performance you have ever seen is a draw?

care to comment on our game against 9 man Walsall a couple of years ago? or Stoke at home or losing 5-0 up the road?

I could go on ..............
