Mount Pleasant Inn gets my vote. (the town that time forgot) any others worth considering.

I've not read the whole thread but The Mark Lemon in Crawley (now hilariously called The Imperial I believe) used to be everything I don't want in a pub. Awful hole.

It is crap, but it's about 1000 times better than the old Fox that used to be there!

Not according to The Fox FB page, if you have a look.

Though the Snooty is still better than it's nearest neighbour, The Moonraker. Good if you want a chat about which prison is best for doing time in.....

A bit pricey but a decent pub. Go there to watch Albion when they're on Sky.
